Free Palestine anti-war protest Cork

With the brutal attack by Hamas militants on innocent civilians in Israel on 07/10/23, Israel has taken the decision to ethnically cleanse the entirety of The Gaza Strip, their excuse seems to be that because Hamas use civilians as human shields it's therefore ok to kill them? The population of Gaza is over 2 million people, of which over 50% are children. Their only route to leave has been bombed by Israel, and this has forced its closure. A ground troop invasion, Israel has indicated, is imminent. Gaza has run out of power, Israel has cut off water, food and electricity. Hospitals do not have medical supplies to deal with the wounded and dying.

On the 10/10/23 protesters gathered in Cork to show solidarity with the people of Palestine. As a colonized nation, we have always in Ireland felt a huge affinity with the struggle of the Palestinian people. 🇮🇪🇵🇸

Another protest will take place this Saturday, 14/10/23 at 12 noon, Grand Parade in support of Palestine. By then the death toll in Gaza we can only imagine. Each day the entire area is being bombed by Israel. No supplies are allowed in, no people are allowed out. There can be only one result if this continues, it's genocide.
